SOUND ENGINEER @ OSBORNS EXHIBITION
Osborns Exhibition is looking for a skilled Sound Engineer to volunteer their expertise in ensuring pristine audio quality for our events. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling of all audio equipment, including microphones, mixing consoles, and PA systems. Your contributions will be essential in delivering a clear and impactful audio experience for both performers and audience members. Your duties will include conducting sound checks, mixing live performances, managing audio levels, and proactively resolving any technical sound issues that may arise. You will collaborate closely with musicians, speakers, and other technical teams to achieve a cohesive and professional audio production. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual with a passion for high-fidelity sound and a commitment to excellence.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in live sound mixing and audio production.
Technical proficiency with mixing consoles (digital and analog), microphones, and PA systems.
Strong understanding of acoustics and audio signal flow.
Ability to troubleshoot audio issues quickly and effectively during live events.
Experience with setting up and optimizing sound systems for various venues.
Familiarity with recording techniques and audio processing software.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with performers and event staff.
Attention to detail and a keen ear for sound quality.
Physical ability to lift and move audio equipment.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
