SCREEN ENGINEER @ OSBORNS EXHIBITION
Osborns Exhibition is seeking a dedicated Screen Engineer to volunteer their technical expertise for our events. This role is vital for ensuring seamless visual presentations, from large LED walls to projection systems. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all screen-related equipment, guaranteeing an immersive and high-quality visual experience for our attendees. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your duties will include configuring video inputs, troubleshooting technical issues during live events, and ensuring optimal display performance. You will work closely with other technical teams, including sound and lights engineers, to integrate visual elements seamlessly into the overall event production. Key Requirements
Experience with LED screens, projectors, and display technologies.
Technical proficiency in setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting screens.
Knowledge of video signal flow and various connection types (HDMI, SDI, DisplayPort).
Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on display equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
Experience with live event technical support.
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
Familiarity with media servers and content management systems for displays.
Physical ability to lift and set up heavy equipment.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with event staff.
