ORA Tobacco Africa is looking for a skilled System Administrator to oversee our IT infrastructure in Tanzania. This role is vital for ensuring our technological systems remain operational and secure, supporting our tobacco production and processing activities. You will be responsible for maintaining servers, networks, and providing technical support to our staff.
As the System Administrator, you will implement security measures, manage software updates, and ensure data integrity across the organization. We are looking for a proactive professional who can anticipate technical issues and provide effective solutions to keep our dynamic agricultural business running efficiently.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Proven experience in server management and network administration
Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating environments
Solid understanding of network security and data protection
Hands-on experience with hardware installation and maintenance
Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to manage system backups and disaster recovery plans
Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA or Microsoft MCSE
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage complex projects
