As a Solar Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and business development, helping clients understand the technical and financial benefits of adopting solar energy. You will develop customized solar proposals, perform cost-benefit analyses, and deliver technical presentations to potential commercial and industrial customers.
This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive the growth of renewable energy portfolios. You will work closely with the design team to ensure customer requirements are met while achieving sales targets and expanding market reach. Key Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Prior experience in technical sales within the solar or energy sector.
Strong understanding of solar PV technology and system components.
Ability to perform financial modeling and ROI calculations for solar.
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical clients.
Strong networking skills to build relationships in the energy industry.
Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Willingness to travel to client sites for assessments and meetings.
