CHEF @ OCEAN VIEW BAR AND RESTAURANT
Ocean View Bar and Restaurant, located in Mbezi Beach-Makonde, is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. We are looking for individuals who take pride in preparing delicious, high-quality meals and are eager to grow within a professional hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, menu planning, and maintaining the highest standards of taste and presentation for our customers.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment where creativity and efficiency are highly valued. Responsibilities include preparing various Tanzanian and international dishes, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and working collaboratively with the kitchen brigade. This role requires flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure excellent service delivery for our guests.

Key Requirements
Basic or secondary education; culinary certificate is an advantage.
At least 1 year of experience in cooking Tanzanian or international cuisine.
Ability to prepare food with high quality, flavor, and cleanliness.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety principles.
Ability to work under pressure and complete orders on time.
Creativity in preparing menus and presenting food attractively.
Honest, disciplined, and time-conscious.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Good health, professional appearance, and positive attitude.
