Nyota Boutique Hotel in Nungwi, Zanzibar is seeking a dedicated Head of Maintenance to lead our facility operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel systems, grounds, and infrastructure are kept in pristine condition to provide an unforgettable experience for our guests.
This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a technical team, execute preventive maintenance schedules, and respond rapidly to urgent repairs. You will oversee all daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency across the entire property.

Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a hotel or resort.
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage a team of maintenance technicians effectively.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in developing and implementing safety protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex equipment issues.
Basic computer literacy for reporting and inventory management.
High level of physical fitness and ability to work in varying conditions.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple site projects.
