SECURITY SUPERVISOR @ NYATI MINERALS SANDS LIMITED
Nyati Minerals Sands Limited is inviting applications for the position of Security Supervisor at the Fungoni Mine Site in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. Reporting to the Stakeholders & Sustainability Manager, the supervisor will oversee all site security operations to ensure the safety of personnel and assets. This includes managing the security team's rosters, conduct, and briefings, while ensuring that all access control systems like CCTV and gate scanners are functioning effectively to prevent unauthorized entry.
The role demands a proactive approach to threat prevention and emergency management. The supervisor will lead initial responses to incidents, coordinate with law enforcement authorities when necessary, and conduct thorough investigations to mitigate future risks. Key Requirements
Tertiary education qualification
Valid JKT (Jeshi la Kujenga Taifa) certificate
1–2 years of experience in a security supervisory role
Proven ability to manage and supervise security personnel
Experience in managing staff rosters and maintaining discipline
Proficiency in monitoring access control systems and CCTV
Ability to lead emergency responses and coordinate with police/authorities
Strong skills in conducting risk assessments and threat prevention
Capability to investigate security breaches and prepare detailed reports
High degree of integrity and professional ethics
