ACCOUNTANT – EVENTS MANAGEMENT @ NOVARA UAE
Novara UAE is seeking a professional Accountant specializing in Events Management to join their team in the United Arab Emirates. This role is critical for managing the complete financial cycle of event projects, including meticulous bookkeeping, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring timely vendor payments. The successful candidate will serve as a financial anchor, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and that financial obligations are met within the fast-paced events industry.
Beyond basic accounting, the position demands a high level of expertise in regional tax regulations, specifically VAT and Corporate Tax compliance for both the UAE and KSA. Responsibilities include managing government portals, preparing comprehensive budgets, and tracking cash flows and investments to maintain the company's financial health. You will also be tasked with implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless financial operations across multiple entities.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
Proven experience in events or project-based accounting.
In-depth knowledge of UAE and KSA VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume transactions and multiple entities.
Proficiency in using government portals for tax and compliance filings.
Strong skills in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
Ability to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors and customers.
High level of proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
