Novamerid is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to operate various heavy construction vehicles. This pivotal role involves operating loaders, general construction vehicles, and excavators on our project sites in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials, excavating sites, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods and equipment.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation, safety protocols, and general maintenance. Key Requirements
Possession of a valid and appropriate driver's license for heavy machinery.
Proven experience operating loaders, excavators, or other construction vehicles.
In-depth knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and operational best practices.
Ability to perform daily maintenance checks and identify mechanical issues.
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Strong commitment to safety on construction sites.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Ability to follow instructions accurately from site supervisors.
