PROJECT MANAGER @ NORTHERN ENGINEERING WORKS LIMITED
Northern Engineering Works Limited is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee complex telecommunications and engineering initiatives from inception to completion. The role demands high-level project planning, budgeting, and the management of subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered within strict timelines and SLAs. You will be instrumental in resource allocation and ensuring operational efficiency across various project sites. As a key member of the Projects Department, you will ensure full compliance with SHEQ and OSHA standards. The position requires a results-oriented professional capable of leading teams and making strategic decisions to maintain project profitability. Successful candidates must be willing to travel and work in any region within Tanzania as required by the project scope.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or a related field
3–5 years of project management experience
Experience in telecom or infrastructure projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical tools
Knowledge of project planning and resource allocation
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and SLAs
Experience with subcontractor management
Understanding of SHEQ compliance and OSHA
Willingness to travel across various regions in Tanzania
