INSTRUMENT SUPERVISOR @ NHTSME (ADNOC PROJECT)
A vacancy exists for an Instrument Supervisor to manage the instrumentation scope of our ADNOC project in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and testing of field instruments, control valves, and sensing devices. The role requires a high level of technical proficiency in control systems and the ability to supervise a technical team to ensure precise execution of the project scope.
You will coordinate the integration of instrumentation with DCS/PLC systems and oversee the loop checking and functional testing phases. Ensuring that all work is documented correctly and meets both client and international standards is critical. Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
Significant experience as an Instrument Supervisor in the oil and gas or petrochemical sector.
Expertise in the installation and calibration of various field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow).
Hands-on experience with control systems such as DCS and PLC.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and logic drawings.
Strong leadership skills for guiding a team of instrument technicians.
Experience in managing instrument procurement and spare parts inventory.
Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills for instrument loop troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills for managing testing and commissioning schedules.
