GEOLOGIST (1 POSITION) @ NGEMBA MINING
Ngemba Mining is currently looking for a qualified Geologist to support our exploration and mining operations based at our Mwanza Branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in earth sciences and have a hands-on approach to field exploration and data analysis. This role is critical for identifying potential mineral deposits and ensuring environmental compliance during our daily mining operations.
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting fieldwork in various conditions, utilizing advanced software like GIS and Rockworks to interpret geological data, and producing comprehensive reports for management. Key Requirements
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in geology, mineral exploration, environmental studies, or related work.
Strong analytical and observational skills.
Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to conduct fieldwork safely in challenging outdoor conditions.
Proficiency in GIS, remote sensing, and geology software (e.g., Rockworks, Surfer).
Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
Strong understanding of geological mapping and sampling techniques.
Knowledge of local environmental regulations and mining compliance.
Ability to interpret complex geological data and subsurface models.
