MARINE INDUSTRY KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER @ NERITA GROUP
Nerita Group is expanding its commercial team and seeking a driven and experienced Marine Industry Key Account Manager to be based in the United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing new business and strengthening long-term partnerships with shipowners, operators, and technical managers. The primary focus of the position is the supply of marine engine oils and lubricants, ensuring that clients receive optimal lubrication strategies and improved procurement efficiency. You will act as a key liaison between the company and its maritime partners to drive growth and market presence. The role requires a candidate who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer engagement and operational excellence. You will be tasked with identifying new customers within the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, conducting regular technical discussions, and ensuring that sales targets for volume and margin are met. Coordination with supply chain and finance teams is essential to facilitate timely deliveries and healthy payment practices. Candidates must be flexible and responsive to the unique challenges of the marine supply industry, including short-notice vessel schedule changes and port calls.
Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Marine Lubricants Sales (mandatory).
Strong understanding of marine engine oils and vessel operations.
Proven ability in value-based selling and negotiations.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, port-driven environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
A proactive, results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Valid UAE work permit / residency is mandatory.
Expertise in cold outreach and customer mapping strategies.
Ability to coordinate complex logistics with supply chain teams.
Proficiency in monitoring sales pipelines and performance metrics.
Capability to conduct technical discussions with superintendents.
