QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER (QC) - 2 POSITIONS @ NEELKANTH SALT LIMITED
Neelkanth Salt Limited is seeking two highly motivated and experienced individuals to join their team as Quality Control Officers at their facility in Mkuranga, Pwani. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process materials, and finished salt products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This role involves rigorous monitoring of production processes, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain excellence in manufacturing.
Key duties include conducting laboratory tests, maintaining and calibrating equipment, and performing regular quality audits. The role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards. Candidates will work closely with the production team to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure full compliance with company quality procedures. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
Deep knowledge of food safety standards and quality assurance systems.
Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and equipment operation.
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Understanding of HACCP principles and implementation.
Knowledge of ISO standards and other quality management systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict production deadlines.
Strong analytical skills for recording, analyzing, and reporting quality data.
