MACHINE MECHANIC @ NEELKANTH SALT LIMITED
Neelkanth Salt Limited is actively seeking a highly competent, experienced, and self-motivated Machine Mechanic to become a vital part of our dedicated Maintenance Department. In this critical role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of all company machinery and equipment through comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance. This includes promptly diagnosing and effectively repairing mechanical faults across a wide range of industrial assets, such as forklifts, HOWO tipper trucks, tractors, loaders, compressors, pumps, and various other heavy and light industrial machines. The position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and minimal production downtime. The Machine Mechanic will perform routine inspections to guarantee machinery operates safely and efficiently, responding promptly to any equipment breakdowns.
Beyond hands-on repairs, the role involves diligent record-keeping of all maintenance activities and the preparation of detailed reports. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is paramount, ensuring a safe working environment for all. The Mechanic will also be encouraged to recommend improvements and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and overall operational performance, contributing to the continuous improvement of the maintenance processes within Neelkanth Salt Limited. Key Requirements
Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years' proven experience as a Machine Mechanic in a manufacturing industry.
Practical experience in maintenance and repair of forklifts, HOWO tipper trucks, tractors, loaders, compressors, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical manuals and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
