PLANT MANAGER – RICE MILL @ NEATHIRE
We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at a prominent rice mill facility in Tanzania. This international leadership role is central to our manufacturing strategy, requiring a candidate who can drive operational efficiency and manage large-scale production cycles. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive production targets while ensuring that all machinery, specifically Buhler equipment, operates at peak performance. Candidates must possess a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering and have a track record of maintaining high-quality standards in food processing. Beyond the technical scope, the Plant Manager will manage inventory control and streamline dispatch processes to ensure a seamless supply chain. While previous experience in Africa is highly valued, we are primarily looking for a leader who can enforce standard operating procedures and maintain a safe, productive working environment.

Key Requirements
10–15 years of experience in rice milling.
Strong knowledge of Buhler machines & operations.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Prior experience in Africa is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Expertise in maximizing machine efficiency and reducing downtime.
Experience overseeing maintenance and preventive schedules.
Strong leadership skills for managing manpower, shifts, and productivity.
Commitment to high-quality rice production standards.
Proficiency in inventory control and ensuring smooth dispatch operations.
Ability to enforce safety protocols, compliance, and SOPs.
