MOTORMAN @ NAVIS
The Motorman position is available on a 122m SOV DP2 vessel with a power plant featuring 12,480kW (16,970hp) and battery power assistance. The vessel will be operating in the UK North Sea for a wind farm support project. Responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of engine room machinery under the direction of the engineering officers. The vessel is scheduled to transit from the USA to Norway for a crew change on May 10th. Wages are negotiable.This is a 4-8 week contract for a project located within 12nm of the UK coast. Candidates must be experienced with advanced vessel power systems and be willing to stay for the duration of the 8-week project. Key Requirements
12 months of actual onboard experience as a Motorman
Engine Room Rating certificate (STCW III/4 or III/5)
Valid STCW basic safety training
HUET with CA-EBS certification
EU National or Ukrainian under UK protection status
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
Familiarity with diesel-electric and battery power systems
Proficiency in mechanical repairs and maintenance
Ability to follow strict safety and environmental protocols
Commitment to a 4-8 week offshore rotation
