CHIEF STEWARD @ NAVIS
The Chief Steward will oversee the catering and housekeeping department on a high-spec SOV DP2 Wind Farm Support vessel. This vessel accommodates a large crew and features modern amenities, operating under the Norwegian flag in the UK North Sea. The vessel is scheduled to arrive in Norway from the USA around the 25th of April, with crew changes occurring in early May. The Chief Steward is responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and crew comfort during the project. Compensation for this role is negotiable depending on the candidate's background.The role involves managing a team of cooks and stewards for a project duration of 4 to 8 weeks. Preference is given to Eastern European or EU crew members who can commit to the full project term. Application instructions require a specific email subject format to ensure processing. The work will be carried out within the North Sea territorial waters of the United Kingdom. Key Requirements
At least 12 months experience as Chief Steward on offshore vessels
Valid Food Handling and Hygiene certificates
Complete set of STCW certificates
HUET with CA-EBS certification
EU National or Ukrainian under UK protection status
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
Strong management and inventory control skills
Ability to work 4-8 week rotations
High standard of English communication
Familiarity with Norwegian flag maritime regulations
