The vessel is an SOV DP2 Wind Farm Support vessel measuring 122 meters LOA with a gross tonnage of 9,423. It features battery power assistance and is equipped with two cranes, including a primary 150-tonne SWL crane. The ship is currently scheduled for a project located within 12 nautical miles of the United Kingdom in the North Sea area. Joining is anticipated around the 10th of May in Norway following a transit from the USA. This role is part of a dedicated crew change-out for a significant renewable energy offshore project. Wages for this position are negotiable based on experience and rank requirements.The project duration is estimated at approximately 8 weeks, though initial contracts are planned for 4 weeks with the possibility of extensions for another 2 to 4 weeks depending on the project's progress. Candidates must be prepared to remain on board for the entire project duration to ensure operational continuity. The vessel operates under the Norwegian flag and maintains high technical standards including Clean COMF and DYNPOS ratings. Work locations are specifically within the North Sea subregions of the UK coastal waters.
Key Requirements
12 months experience on similar vessel types in the rank of Bosun
Valid COP (Certificate of Proficiency)
Valid STCW certificates and endorsements
HUET with CA-EBS certification
Must be an EU National or Ukrainian under UK protection status
Possession of a valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
Proven experience with DP2 vessel operations
Proficiency in English maritime communication
Valid offshore medical certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)
Ability to commit to the full 4-8 week project duration
