AB / CRANE OPERATOR @ NAVIS
This position involves operating specialized deck equipment on an SOV DP2 Wind Farm Support vessel. The vessel is 122 meters long and equipped with a 150-tonne SWL crane and a 12-tonne SWL crane, requiring skilled operators for wind farm support tasks. The project is situated within 12 nautical miles of the United Kingdom in the North Sea. The vessel will be transiting from the USA to Norway, with crew changes expected around the 10th of May. This is a critical role for the success of the offshore wind energy project, providing essential lifting and deck support for operations. Salary details are negotiable.The contract is structured for 4 to 8 weeks, with candidates requested to be available for the entire project lifecycle. Successful candidates will be part of a professional crew operating under Norwegian flag standards. Key Requirements
12 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of AB/Crane Operator
Specialized Crane Operator certificate for offshore vessels
Valid STCW certificates
HUET with CA-EBS training
EU National or Ukrainian with UK protection status
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
Experience with 150-tonne SWL cranes preferred
Proficient in deck maintenance and safety procedures
Ability to pass a comprehensive offshore medical exam
Strong teamwork skills in a multicultural environment
