2 AB / CRANE OPERATOR @ NAVIS
Two positions are available for AB / Crane Operators on a specialized SOV DP2 vessel. The vessel is equipped with two cranes, including a primary crane of 150 tonnes SWL. This project is based in the North Sea, specifically within 12nm of the UK coast. The vessel will transit from the USA and perform a crew change in Norway around the 10th of May. This is a specialized role requiring both seamanship skills and heavy-lift crane expertise for wind farm support operations.
The AB / Crane Operator will be responsible for safe lifting operations at sea and assisting with standard deck duties. This project demands high precision and adherence to safety standards. The expected duration is 8 weeks, though initial contracts may be 4 weeks with extensions. Only candidates meeting the specific nationality and permit requirements (EU or Ukrainian with UK protection) will be considered for this offshore opportunity.

Key Requirements
12 months of actual onboard experience as an AB Crane Operator
Valid Offshore Crane Operator certification (Stage 2 or 3)
Valid STCW and COP certificates
HUET with CA-EBS is mandatory
Experience with 150-tonne SWL cranes on DP2 vessels
EU National or Ukrainian with UK protection status
Valid UK FWP for working in UK territorial waters
Excellent hand-eye coordination and safety awareness
Ability to perform standard AB deck duties when not operating cranes
Availability for the full 8-week project duration
