FIELD SAFETY MANAGER (1 POSITION) @ NATIONAL SAFETY TRAINING SOLUTIONS
National Safety Training Solutions is currently seeking a highly qualified Field Safety Manager to lead our safety efforts across various project locations. This role focuses on ensuring that all trenching and excavation activities are performed safely and in full compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of soil mechanics and protective systems to mitigate risks effectively. In this position, you will be responsible for developing site-specific safety plans, conducting regular field inspections, and mentoring site personnel on best safety practices. You will serve as a subject matter expert on safety, working closely with project managers to integrate safety into every aspect of our field operations. Your leadership will be key to maintaining our commitment to worker health and safety.
Key Requirements
Strong background in trenching and excavation safety.
Extensive knowledge of OSHA 1926 standards.
Experience in field safety management and oversight.
Ability to conduct thorough site safety audits.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in safety documentation and incident reporting.
Certification such as CSP, CHST, or equivalent.
Proven ability to train staff on safety protocols.
Valid driver's license for site visits.
Significant experience in heavy construction or civil engineering.
