PROJECT PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH (NIMR)
The Project Procurement Officer will be responsible for supporting the procurement processes at the National Institute for Medical Research. This role ensures all activities are conducted with efficiency and in full compliance with national regulations and institutional policies under the guidance of the Centre Procurement Officer. Successful candidates will manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely acquisition of project materials.
The officer will utilize the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) to execute procurement tasks. This position is based in Dar es Salaam and requires a proactive approach to supply chain management to ensure the seamless execution of research and academic projects within the institution.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management
Registered with PSPTB
At least 2 years of project procurement experience
Experience with National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST)
Ability to write in English using Times New Roman font
Submission of academic certificates including Form Four and Form Six
Two reputable referees
Proficiency in reporting and record keeping
Knowledge of public procurement laws
Strong organizational and communication skills
