MNCH AND NUTRITION REGIONAL OFFICER - LINDI @ NAFGEM TANZANIA
NAFGEM Tanzania is seeking a dedicated MNCH and Nutrition Regional Officer to support its maternal, newborn, and child health interventions under the ACHIEVE project. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating program activities at the regional level, ensuring that health interventions align with national guidelines and project objectives. This role requires extensive collaboration with regional partners and government health authorities to drive quality service delivery and capacity-building among healthcare workers in the Lindi region.
The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of nutrition and MNCH initiatives, monitor project data, and provide technical guidance to facility champions. By maintaining strong relationships with regional health management teams, the officer will ensure that project targets are met timely. This position is a short-term contract lasting one month starting September 2026, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant health outcomes for women and children.

Key Requirements
Diploma in Medicine, Nursing, or Midwifery
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MNCH or nutrition programs
Proven experience working with Regional or Council health structures
Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili
Strong analytical skills for DHIS2/HMIS data management
Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders and partners
Proficiency in coaching and mentoring healthcare providers
Bachelor’s degree in a related health field (added advantage)
Excellent reporting and communication skills
Ability to work independently under strict project timelines
