VOLUNTEER MONITORING, EVALUATION, LEARNING & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER @ MYDIA-TZ
Mydia-Tz (Youth's Development Initiatives) is seeking a dedicated and creative volunteer to serve as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Communications Officer. This role is designed for individuals passionate about community development and youth empowerment who wish to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic NGO environment. The volunteer will work closely with the team to ensure that program activities are monitored effectively and that the impact of the organization's work is communicated clearly to stakeholders and the wider community through various media channels.
Key responsibilities include supporting data collection and analysis, capturing success stories, and managing the organization's communication platforms and social media. The officer will also assist in photography, branding, and visibility efforts while contributing to proposal development and knowledge management. This is an excellent opportunity to build a professional portfolio in MEL and communications while contributing to meaningful social change. Key Requirements
Passion for community development and youth empowerment.
Experience or interest in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks.
Strong writing, documentation, and storytelling skills for impact reporting.
Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Ability to manage and update organizational communication platforms and social media.
Basic skills in graphic design for creating visibility materials.
Basic skills in photography to document project activities.
Experience or interest in data collection and analysis for NGO projects.
Ability to contribute to proposal development and knowledge management processes.
