FINANCE INTERN @ MWANZA YOUTH AND CHILDREN NETWORK
Mwanza Youth and Children Network (MYCN) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations by assisting in the recording of daily financial transactions and the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and budgets. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a community-focused environment dedicated to youth and child development, ensuring that all financial records are accurately maintained and expenses are meticulously tracked.
In addition to daily transaction management, the Finance Intern will support basic financial compliance and reporting tasks to ensure the organization meets all regulatory and internal standards. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles and proficiency in MS Excel. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
1+ year of relevant experience
Good knowledge of basic accounting principles
Ability to work in community-focused and youth and child development environments
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and professional ethics
Ability to work effectively within a team
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
