SURVEYOR (1 POSITION) @ MWANDUMBYA PETER
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Singida. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land and construction site surveys, performing accurate measurements, and collecting data essential for project planning and execution. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of site layouts and contributing to the overall success of our construction and land development projects. This position requires a professional approach to spatial data management and technical reporting. The role also involves the preparation and interpretation of survey reports, maps, and 3D drawings using advanced mapping software. You will be expected to maintain all surveying equipment, including Total Stations and GPS units, to ensure precision and long-term reliability. Working closely with engineers and project teams, you will provide the necessary spatial data and technical insights required for various stages of the project lifecycle, from initial assessment to final completion.
Key Requirements
Only Tanzanian citizens are eligible to apply for this position.
Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in surveying or a related engineering field.
High proficiency in using Total Station and GPS equipment for accurate data collection.
Strong technical skills in 3D drawings and various professional mapping software applications.
Extensive experience in leveling techniques and precise site measurements for construction.
Deep understanding of standard survey procedures, documentation, and professional reporting protocols.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex geographical data, contour maps, and architectural plans.
Physical fitness and the willingness to work in diverse outdoor terrain and various weather conditions.
