Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
2-3 years of working experience in a reporting or editorial role.
Proven ability to report and write news and feature stories in finished form.
Proficiency in conducting interviews and taking accurate notes on location.
Ability to perform audio and visual recordings for multimedia integration.
Strong research skills to provide necessary background information for stories.
Deep understanding of MCL’s editorial policy and journalistic code of ethics.
Ability to follow news leads and maintain a reliable network of news sources.
