ICT SUPERVISOR @ MUCOBA BANK PLC
MUCOBA Bank PLC, the oldest community bank in Tanzania, is seeking an experienced ICT Supervisor to lead, secure, and optimize its banking technology infrastructure. This pivotal role involves a blend of technical mastery and strategic oversight within a high-stakes financial environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all IT and telecom equipment, overseeing the installation and configuration of hardware and software, and leading a dedicated team of IT professionals.
The role also focuses heavily on data security and compliance, requiring the implementation of advanced firewalls, backups, and encryption protocols. You will ensure the organization meets all cybersecurity standards and IT regulations while providing onsite technical support to minimize downtime. Additionally, the ICT Supervisor will manage IT projects, handle budgeting and procurement, and develop comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure high system availability and the continued financial well-being of the community.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
3–4 years of proven experience within the banking sector.
Microsoft Server Administration and Active Directory certifications.
Cisco Networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP).
Desirable: ITIL framework knowledge or cybersecurity credentials (CISSP/CEH).
Proven ability to monitor, maintain, and follow up on all IT and Telecom equipment.
Experience in supervising and leading IT staff, providing mentorship and performance management.
Strong understanding of data security protocols including firewalls, backups, and encryption.
Ability to document, implement, test, and review business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
