Msufini T Limited is a fast-growing industrial company currently developing a 45 TPD chlor-alkali manufacturing plant in Mlandizi, Tanzania. We are seeking a competent and hands-on professional Accountant to join our expanding industrial operations team in the Mlandizi, Pwani Region. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the financial health and ensuring regulatory adherence within our production facility.
The role involves overseeing tax compliance and TRA filings, managing financial accounting and reporting processes, and providing comprehensive audit support. Additionally, the Accountant will be responsible for reconciliations and implementing robust manufacturing finance controls to streamline operations. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must be CPA (T) or ACCA certified, or possess an equivalent professional qualification.
A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in tax and accounting roles.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated proficiency in using modern ERP systems for financial management.
Strong experience in manufacturing finance controls and cost accounting.
Proven ability to handle TRA filings and ensure full tax compliance.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure industrial environment.
