MONITORING EVALUATION RESEARCH OFFICER @ MSHANA GODFREY
As a Monitoring Evaluation Research Officer, you will lead the development and implementation of M&E systems to track project progress and evaluate impact. Based in Sengerema, you will be responsible for designing data collection tools, conducting field visits, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. Your insights will be crucial for improving program effectiveness and ensuring accountability to stakeholders. The role also involves conducting research to identify best practices and emerging trends within the sector. You will prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to share findings with the management team and donors. This position requires a proactive individual who can turn data into actionable intelligence to drive the organization's mission forward.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Significant experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and methodologies.
Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, or R.
Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
Experience in designing research tools and surveys.
Ability to provide technical support and training on M&E systems.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with NGOs or research institutions is preferred.
Ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable format.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
