We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join our construction firm in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring that all acquisitions are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with local regulations and organizational policies. You will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating favorable contract terms, and ensuring that materials and services are delivered on time to support our construction projects.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards in Tanzania.
Professional certification (e.g., CPSP, CIPS) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines effectively.
Strong understanding of construction material specifications.
Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in purchasing.
