MATERIAL ENGINEER @ MSANDOHR SOLUTIONS
MsandoHR Solutions is recruiting a qualified Material Engineer on behalf of one of our esteemed clients based in Dar es Salaam. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing and testing various materials to be used in construction and project development, ensuring that all components meet strict safety and quality standards. This role requires a detailed understanding of material properties and the ability to recommend alternatives based on project budgets and technical requirements.
In addition to technical testing, the Material Engineer will collaborate with the project management team to oversee the implementation of material standards on-site. You will be expected to prepare comprehensive technical reports and maintain documentation regarding material performance throughout the lifecycle of the project. This is a critical role in ensuring the durability and structural integrity of our client's projects in Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in testing and analyzing construction materials such as concrete, steel, and soil.
In-depth knowledge of international and local construction standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
Proficiency in using specialized laboratory equipment and engineering software.
Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent technical writing skills for the preparation of detailed material reports.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects.
Strong attention to detail to ensure all materials meet safety and longevity requirements.
Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
Professional registration or certification with relevant engineering bodies in Tanzania.
