The Chief Steward will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the entire kitchen area at Mount Meru Hotel. This role involves managing the stewarding team, ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, and upholding the highest standards of sanitation in the facility.
As the lead for kitchen support operations, you will manage workflows to ensure that chefs and kitchen staff always have the clean equipment necessary for their operations. This is a critical role for maintaining the operational flow and health standards of our five-star hotel in Arusha.

Key Requirements
4–5 years’ hospitality experience.
Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.
Proven experience in managing kitchen stewarding teams.
Technical understanding of kitchen equipment maintenance.
Ability to manage cleaning supplies and inventory.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Attention to detail in all cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Ability to train staff on safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills for team coordination.
Reliability and commitment to workplace safety.
