The CDP for the À La Carte section will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of individual dishes to the highest standards. You will focus on delivering consistent quality for our à la carte service, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects the premium reputation of the Mount Meru Hotel.
This position requires an individual with a creative eye for presentation and the technical skill to execute complex dishes under pressure. You will coordinate with the wider kitchen brigade to provide an unforgettable dining experience for our guests at our Arusha facility.

Key Requirements
4–5 years’ relevant hospitality experience.
Strong cooking and plating skills.
Proven experience in high-end à la carte service.
Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated reliability and professional demeanor.
Strong understanding of inventory control and food costs.
