Monica Cakes and Events is a premier bakery and event planning company located in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam, specializing in crafting decadent cakes for weddings, birthdays, and various celebrations. We are currently seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team and help us provide exceptional service to our clients. The salary for this position is Tshs 120,000 per month. The role involves managing front-desk operations, assisting with client inquiries, and performing basic cake decoration tasks such as writing on cakes. Candidates must be prepared to work 8 hours a day in a fast-paced, creative environment. The chosen candidate will be responsible for representing our brand and ensuring every client feels welcomed into our world of sweetness and celebration. Key Requirements
Must be a quick learner capable of adapting to a bakery and event environment.
Age must be between 18 and 30 years old.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and office software.
High level of communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
Must be a resident of or able to commute to Dar es Salaam.
Maintains a smart, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
Knowledge of cake basics, specifically the ability to write neatly on cakes.
Ability to work a standard 8-hour shift daily.
Proficiency in both English and Swahili is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills to manage front desk tasks and customer bookings.
