SENIOR ACCOUNTANT @ MOIVARO LODGES & TENTED CAMPS
Moivaro Lodges & Tented Camps is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance department in Arusha. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing strategic support to the management team. You will be responsible for overseeing financial workflows, maintaining fiscal integrity, and contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of our hospitality operations in Tanzania.
The Senior Accountant will lead the finance and accounts department, reporting directly to the General Manager and Group Financial Controller. This position involves managing junior staff, including Accounts Assistants, Storekeepers, and Cost Controllers. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can uphold the high standards of the Moivaro brand while optimizing our accounting processes and financial management practices.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing team members.
Comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable business insights.
Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in documentation.
Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
