Join a growing team delivering one of Zanzibar's hospitality construction projects. The Safety Officer will support the safety management team by performing routine site inspections, enforcing site rules, and providing immediate feedback to workers regarding safety hazards.
Working under the direction of the Safety Supervisor, the Safety Officer ensures that day-to-day site operations in Zanzibar remain within safety parameters. This role involves active participation in hazard mitigation, monitoring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring that all site safety signage and protocols are strictly followed.

Key Requirements
Tanzanian national
Relevant certification in Health and Safety
Previous experience in construction site monitoring
Familiarity with local safety standards and guidelines
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong work ethic and integrity
Excellent attention to detail for site inspection
Strong ability to enforce policies and correct behaviors
