MECHANICAL ENGINEER (MEP) @ MKWAWA-LC
Mkwawa-LC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to join our construction project team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems to ensure all building infrastructures meet safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards.
In this role, you will work closely with project managers and site teams to translate technical drawings into functional building systems. Your expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection will be crucial in delivering high-quality results within project timelines. You must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to maintaining the highest engineering standards on all construction sites.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5–6 years’ experience in MEP/mechanical works, preferably in construction.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant engineering design software.
Knowledge of local and international building codes and safety regulations.
Excellent analytical skills to manage project costs and material procurement.
Ability to manage on-site technical teams effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting.
