CIVIL PLANNER @ MKWAWA-LC
Mkwawa-LC is seeking a highly skilled and result-oriented Civil Planner to join their growing construction team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The role involves overseeing the strategic planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects, including infrastructure, high-rise buildings, water systems, and roads. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project timelines, managing resource allocation, and creating recovery plans to ensure all deliverables are met within the specified timeframes.
As a Civil Planner, you will collaborate closely with project, procurement, and site execution teams to maintain seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle. You will be expected to utilize industry-standard tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project to track progress and generate detailed reports for stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant civil engineering projects within Africa, requiring a candidate with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to navigate challenging site conditions effectively.

Key Requirements
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in construction planning & project scheduling.
Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project software.
Proven experience in infrastructure, high-rise, water, roads, or large civil construction projects.
Sound knowledge of project tracking, resource planning, and progress reporting.
Ability to develop and implement project recovery plans efficiently.
Excellent coordination skills with project, procurement, and site execution teams.
Prior experience working on African construction projects is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex project data.
Excellent reporting capabilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage project timelines under challenging site conditions.
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction management field.
