STOREKEEPER (2 POSITIONS) @ MKWAWA CONSTRUCTION
Two Storekeeper positions are currently open at Mkwawa Construction in Zanzibar. These roles are critical for managing the inventory and supply chain of the construction site. The storekeepers will be responsible for receiving materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that storage facilities are organized and secure to prevent loss or damage.
Candidates will coordinate with the procurement department to ensure that stock levels are maintained and that materials are available for construction teams when needed. Strong organizational skills and experience with inventory management software are essential to handle the high volume of supplies and equipment characteristic of large-scale construction projects.

Key Requirements
Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in storekeeping or inventory management
Proven experience in inventory and store management
Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
Ability to verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
Experience in using inventory tracking systems
Familiarity with construction materials and equipment
Physical ability to manage and move stock items
Knowledge of warehouse safety and security procedures
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers
