Mkwawa Construction is looking for an experienced Electrician to oversee electrical installations in Zanzibar. This role involves the full scope of electrical work from initial wiring to final troubleshooting and repair in building construction projects. The successful applicant will ensure all electrical systems meet safety standards and project specifications.
The Electrician will work on lighting systems, power distribution, and various electrical fixtures. This position requires a professional who can work independently or as part of a team, ensuring that all site procedures are followed and that electrical installations are durable and efficient for the project's lifespan.

Key Requirements
Degree in Electrical Installation or related field
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in building construction projects
Ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
Experience in wiring, lighting installation, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and site procedures
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience with both high and low voltage systems
Ability to conduct electrical inspections and testing
Skill in using specialized electrical testing equipment
Capacity to work under pressure to meet construction deadlines
