PLUMBER - 1 POSITION @ MKWAWA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to support our construction projects in Zanzibar. The candidate will be responsible for the full range of plumbing duties, from initial system installation in new buildings to the ongoing maintenance and repair of existing pipes and fixtures. You will ensure that all water, gas, and drainage systems are functional and compliant with safety codes. As a key member of the building crew, the Plumber must be able to work efficiently, interpret technical drawings accurately, and coordinate with other construction specialists. Key Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Plumbing or related field
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in building construction projects
Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
Knowledge of safety standards and construction site procedures
Proficient in reading building blueprints and plumbing diagrams
Skilled in joining various pipe types including PVC, copper, and PEX
Experience with water heating systems and drainage solutions
Ability to perform pressure tests to ensure system integrity
Strong problem-solving skills for on-site plumbing challenges
Excellent teamwork skills for collaborating with other trade professionals
