CIVIL SITE MANAGER @ MIND STREAM
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Civil Site Manager to join a leading energy company in Qatar. This role is focused on overseeing site operations within the energy sector, specifically for large-scale substation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that all civil works are completed according to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. This is a contractual position for a duration of 12 months, with the potential for extension based on project requirements and performance. The Civil Site Manager will act as a pivotal link between the project management team and the on-site workforce, facilitating smooth communication and efficient resource allocation. You will be expected to resolve technical issues as they arise, monitor progress against the project schedule, and maintain high levels of site safety. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
Alternatively, a Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of construction experience.
At least 8 years of specialized experience in substation projects for degree holders.
At least 10 years of specialized experience in substation projects for diploma holders.
Proven ability to manage site operations effectively and lead a diverse workforce.
Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and site safety protocols.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on project delivery.
Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and civil engineering design documents.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address on-site technical challenges efficiently.
