FIBER NETWORK SUPERVISOR @ MILAN FIBER LTD
Milan Fiber Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fiber Network Supervisor to join their team in Arusha. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of fiber technicians, ensuring that all installations and maintenance work meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in fiber optics and strong leadership capabilities to manage field operations effectively and troubleshoot complex network issues. The supervisor will act as a pivotal link between the field teams and management, preparing detailed work reports and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed. With a focus on efficiency and reliability, the Fiber Network Supervisor will play a key role in expanding and maintaining the company's fiber network infrastructure, contributing to the overall success and connectivity goals of Milan Fiber Ltd.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the fiber industry.
Proven experience in supervising fiber technicians or technical field teams.
In-depth knowledge of fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret network diagrams and technical engineering reports.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and consistently meet project deadlines.
Proficient computer skills and experience in technical report writing.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
High level of discipline, responsibility, and trustworthiness.
Possession of a valid driving license is an added advantage.
