HR OFFICER @ MICROFINANCE INSTITUTION
The HR Officer role is pivotal in managing our most valuable asset: our people. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of employee management, including recruitment, onboarding, and fostering positive employee relations. This role involves overseeing the implementation of HR policies, managing performance review cycles, and ensuring full compliance with labor laws and internal regulations.
In addition to administrative and compliance duties, the HR Officer will support broader organizational development initiatives aimed at building a high-performing culture. We are looking for a professional who can balance operational HR tasks with strategic contributions to help the institution scale its operations effectively.

Key Requirements
Relevant academic qualifications in Human Resources or related fields
Proven experience in HR management within a professional setting
Strong analytical skills regarding employee metrics and performance
Excellent communication and mediation skills
Strong interpersonal skills for managing diverse employee needs
High level of integrity and confidentiality
In-depth knowledge of Tanzania labor laws and HR best practices
Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes
Ability to lead organizational development initiatives
Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS)
