ESHS OFFICER @ METRE‑GAUGE RAILWAY (MGR)
We are seeking a dedicated ESHS Officer to ensure the Environment, Safety, Health, and Security standards are strictly upheld on the Kaliua‑Tabora railway rehabilitation project. The successful candidate will monitor site activities, conduct safety audits, and implement training programs to mitigate risks to workers and the environment.
Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science or Safety Management
Proven experience as an ESHS officer in construction projects
Knowledge of international safety standards
Ability to conduct site risk assessments
Excellent report writing and documentation skills
Knowledge of environmental impact assessments
Strong emergency response planning capabilities
Certification in first aid or fire safety
Attention to detail regarding regulatory compliance
Strong leadership in promoting safety culture
