SYSTEM SUPPORT (2 POSITIONS) @ METL
MeTL Company is looking for two dedicated System Support professionals to join our IT department in Dar es Salaam. This role focuses on providing technical assistance and maintenance for our diverse array of computing systems, including servers, PCs, and laptops. The ideal candidates will have a robust understanding of various operating systems and the ability to manage modern IoT devices within the corporate environment. As a System Support specialist, you will be tasked with ensuring the reliability and performance of our internal systems. You will provide critical support to end-users and manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets. Requirements include a solid educational foundation in Information Technology and at least two years of experience in a similar capacity, backed by certifications like MCSE.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
2-3 years of experience in system support roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft MCSE standards.
In-depth knowledge of server administration and maintenance.
Strong understanding of various Operating Systems.
Expertise in PC and Laptop hardware repair and support.
Knowledge and experience with IoT devices.
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to provide high-quality user support.
Competency in software installation and configuration.
