MeTL Company is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Network Support specialist in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing technical hardware and software components related to networking. Key responsibilities include managing P2P and Fiber connections, ensuring that all network operations meet company standards. You will work closely with the IT department to implement and maintain network security measures. Applicants should possess a strong background in IT with specific certifications like CCNA and CCNP to be successful in this position.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT.
2-3 years of relevant experience in networking.
High level of Computer Literacy.
Valid CCNA certification.
Valid CCNP certification.
In-depth knowledge of Point-to-Point (P2P) protocols.
Extensive experience with Fiber optic networking.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Proficiency in router and switch configuration.
Strong understanding of network security and firewalls.
