The Finance and Admin Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the aviation department by managing financial records and administrative tasks at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. Key duties include processing invoices, tracking expenses, and ensuring all documentation is filed correctly to maintain efficient workflow within the aviation sector. Furthermore, the successful candidate will assist in payroll preparation, inventory management, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operational support. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a finance or administrative role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Familiarity with aviation industry operations and terminology.
Proven ability to manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments.
High level of integrity and professional ethics in handling sensitive data.
Fluency in both English and Swahili for effective communication.
Familiarity with Tanzanian labor laws and tax regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills for inter-departmental coordination.
